Island Secures $250M in series e funding, valuation hits $4.85 billion

Enterprise browser developer Island has secured $250 million in a Series E funding round led by Coatue, with participation from Insight Partners, Sequoia Capital, and Canapi Ventures. The fresh investment has propelled the company’s valuation to $4.85 billion.

Based in Dallas, Texas, Island enables businesses to develop customized enterprise browsers, granting them full control over their digital work environments. By leveraging tailored browsing solutions, companies can enhance security, application access management, device visibility, and workflow automation.

Founded in 2020, Island operates with a team of 500 employees and currently serves over 450 enterprise clients. The company announced that the new funding will be utilized to accelerate innovation, expand its workforce, and enhance its offerings for customers.

In a statement shared on social media, Island’s team emphasized, “We are still at the beginning of our journey. This investment will help us accelerate our innovation, scale our team, and deliver even greater value to our customers.”
