Roper Technologies acquires CentralReach for $1.65 billion!

Roper Technologies, a leading provider of software and technology solutions, is expanding its presence in the healthcare sector by acquiring CentralReach for $1.65 billion. Previously operating under Insight Partners, CentralReach is expected to officially become part of Roper Technologies by April or May 2025.

Following the acquisition announcement, Roper’s shares increased by 1.1%.

Headquartered in Florida, Roper Technologies develops specialized software and technology-driven solutions for industries such as healthcare, law, and data analytics. Founded in 2020 and also based in Florida, CentralReach focuses on AI-powered home care technologies for individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities.

CentralReach’s software is designed to support therapists and institutions serving individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, and developmental disorders. Its applied behavior analysis (ABA) platform helps optimize operational workflows for therapists while improving clinical outcomes.

Roper Technologies CEO Neil Hunn emphasized that “CentralReach aligns perfectly with our long-term acquisition criteria. The company has a strong organic growth profile and the ability to expand its profit margins under Roper’s long-term ownership.” Hunn also highlighted CentralReach’s niche market leadership and high recurring revenue model as key factors in the deal.

Pursuing its acquisition strategy, Roper Technologies also acquired Procare Solutions and Transact Campus in 2024. While Procare Solutions provides management software for early education centers, Transact Campus offers similar solutions tailored for higher education institutions.
